What should I wear?
Our wedding will be a formal evening affair. Dress code is suit and tie, floor-length dress, or formal cocktail dress. Tuxedos are not required. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
Casual wear such as jeans, hats, or athletic wear will not be permitted into the venue. Please avoid western wear, sundresses, short cocktail dresses, and neon colors. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask!
Where is Cohen House/How is parking?
Cohen House is and is on Rice University campus near the main entrance on Sunset & Main. Valet parking is complimentary, and rideshare can drop off at Cohen House directly.
Please do not drink and drive. Please make arrangements to stay at a recommended nearby hotel and/or carpool if you plan to party hard with us.
What's on the menu?
Your plated dinner options will be available in your RSVP; please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions and we will work with the venue to accommodate you.
Can I bring kids/a plus one?
Our guest list has been finalized and we will only have the capacity to host those named on the invitation and RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.
Is your ceremony unplugged?
Yes; Kindly refrain from using phones or cameras during any parts of the ceremony. Don't be the friend or family member who has their phone out in all of our photos! We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture every moment and will share those with you.
What if I'm late?
Unfortunately, you will miss the ceremony. Cohen House staff will close the ceremony space before procession begins at 6 PM; the venue will open for seating at 5:30 PM.
