At the Houston Zoo! After we both had been around for several years but never crossing paths, we finally met in spring 2022. The zoo is a really special place to both of us. Our community at the zoo has been the most loving and supportive group of people throughout our journey!

We love to travel, try new recipes and kitchen gadgets, love on our pets and foster animals, and have date nights at dinner theaters (or on the couch watching reality TV). We love having Mel's family in the Houston area and see her mom all the time. When we can, we travel to see Lillie's family, meet them for a ranch trip, or travel for a weekend somewhere fun.

We said yes to forever! During our anniversary trip to Hawaii we got engaged on November 27th, 2023. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

We've been living the life! Between working, wedding planning, and anything else life brings, we have continued to travel to national parks, with family, and on weekend road trips.
